Prucia is the likely leader at a keen tempo. CLAUDIO (10) improved sharply last start when lining up for the second time, leading from the outset to record a tough maiden win over 1100m at Dubbo. Back in trip but has the natural speed to be equally as effective. Progressive three-year-old who is capable of taking this next step. BRIGHELLA (12) has been a model of consistency of late. Racked up a fifth consecutive top three finish last time out when beaten under a length over 1000m at Tamworth. Makes his own luck up on the speed and should be prominent again. EQUITABLE (11) disappointed at his latest appearance at Tamworth after a tough maiden win at the same track the run prior. Lightly raced five-year-old who draws a nice gate and deserves another chance. BOX OFFICE (8) has transferred to the Rob Bowen stable and is first-up from a five-month spell. Cruised to victory in a recent trial. A few gear changes might do the trick. MR ENCORE (7) needs luck from a tricky draw but has come back in fine order this prep. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Claudio and Brighella.
