Genuine tempo with Twice As Quick to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. Looks a race in two, with TALLINGAS IMMORTAL (11) the clear top choice. Has been freshened up and changed stables since a strong return from a spell over 1100m at Wodonga on 4 January, beaten narrowly after leading most of the way. Will go fast again and prove tough to catch coming back in distance. CAPITAL DESIGN (4) is the threat. Passed a vet's exam but was a bit plain last time over 1000m at Gundagai. Placed here at this trip in mid-December. Freshened up and capable of testing the top pick. WALLABY JACK (3) has little early gate speed which costs him in these sharp sprints. Three runs this prep have been pass-marks only. Not much depth outside the top two so he is an each-way hope. TRADER'S GUESS (13) was in the money on debut at Tumut recently. This is tougher but if she shows natural improvement she should weigh in again. TRAVELON DORY (14) hasn't been too far away in her two runs this prep. Must go in the wider exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Tallingas Immortal.
