Just a moderate pace anticipated. KING OLIVER (5) was racing well without winning, finishing in the money on two consecutive occasions, before finishing fourth last time out over 1750m at this track. Has a solid record at this circuit. Should be in the finish. PAWA POKE CHAMP (9) improved sharply on his fifth two starts back at this track with a win over 1400m at this track two weeks ago, getting home by 6 lengths after being in contention on the corner. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. AOINO YUME (7) has been racing well without winning. Last start finished third, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1750m at this track. Yet to win at this distance but has recorded five minor placings so she is expected to be in the finish. POPPING BERRY (3) made progress last time out, finishing 4 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1400m at this track. The engagement of Toru Takeyoshi is noteworthy. Finds a nice race and can play a big role again.
