Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Debating. MERCHANT DELIGHT (1) was quickly back on track when narrowly beaten over 1200m. Keeps the handy claim, and the improving galloper can go one better. HELL FIRE MISS (3) was tracking well before a plainer run last time. She's been racing in better class and the blinkers come off, and she has the tongue tie applied for the first time. Suited and should get her chance. BEATIFICATION (5) didn't manage the wide gate last time, but the two placed efforts prior read well. Needs some luck again, but a bounce is likely. JULY (2) finished sixth, beaten 4 lengths, last start over 1200m at this track. Next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Merchant Delight.
