Moderate pace with Tortina taking up the running ahead of Piko Chimachi and J L Tide. TORTINA (5) was safely held two back then appreciated the easier company last time and gave a sight in front when placed over this course and distance. Tackles similar class here and rates highly on best. The one to beat. J L TIDE (7) is yet to break through after five career starts. Could only manage to finish fifth last time out over 1400m at this track following a minor placing at this track the run prior. Best figures measure right up for this. PIKO CHIMACHI (11) went forward from the low draw last start and sat on the pace before sticking on well to finish second over 900m at this track. In the right race and is a winning hope. KYOEI RED (8) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third here. Can build off that and is among the main hopes.
