MAKOTO ATAKIGIRI (7) is clearly the one to beat after being sent out odds-on and getting home by a neck at Saga last start, having made up strong ground to beat Francine. Her record at this track and distance is the cleanest profile in the race, with one win and two placings from three tries, and the previous third to Mikki Parasol reads well enough for this. NISHINO MEIHO (8) is the main danger on improvement, rising third-up after working home for fourth, beaten just over two lengths, though the 13-start maiden record keeps him from being a risk-free proposition. FORD SPIRIT (6) is knocking on the door after missing by half a length behind Vacio and has a solid distance record. KASUMIZUKI (12) brings a class angle from Nagoya 3yo+ B1 races, but must turn around two heavy defeats to justify the support.
