Red Mau Loa has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. RED MAU LOA (1) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 1800m at Niigata Dirt when second, beaten 3 lengths. On speed and boxed on well but found one better. Leading rider goes aboard and has the inside. Has plenty of upside so he is worth following up. FABRIC (4) will find this a little easier than his third on debut three weeks ago, beaten 9 lengths at the end of 1800m at this track. Will benefit from that experience so a big run is anticipated. IKIFUN (9) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1800m at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. MAPLE COME ON (7) ended up 10 lengths behind the winner in fourth on debut last start over 1800m at this track. Open to plenty of improvement. Must be respected.
