In a race devoid of early speed Toa Agnes is the most likely to find the front. GRADUEL (1) is the runner to beat despite an ordinary sixth here behind Wonder Muse, as she was respected near the top of an open market and had previously kept working when beaten just under five lengths in a 3yo+ ALLOW at Niigata. YAMAME KNIGHT (3) has to turn around that recent Kochi meeting with Graduel and comes off two heavy defeats, but he is race fit and finds a more suitable assignment than his Niigata Dirt 1800m run. THREE KIZUNA HIME (5) has the light weight and the strongest recent-rating profile, though the sharp drop from 2000m and 2400m to 1300m is the clear query. WOGE (9) is more a place chance than a clean winning push, but his Nagoya run was fair enough late after conceding a big start and he has fewer convictions than some of these.

S BEPPU 3YO BAY FILLY 55.0KG Mr.horse Worked only fairly to the line when sixth here behind Wonder Muse, beaten over 14 lengths, but she was near the top of an open market and this does look a softer target. Her Niigata 3yo+ ALLOW run two back had more merit, beaten just under five lengths at huge odds after never being a winning hope. She has already finished ahead of Yamame Knight at Kochi and gets a genuine chance if the 1300m holds no concern. |

MASAMITSU SAKAI 3YO DK B FILLY 55.0KG Ryotaro Kobayashi Picked up nicely in the straight when sixth here behind Suzuka Rose King, though the margin was still just under nine lengths and she was among the outsiders. Her previous Kochi run was plain, finishing ninth and well beaten behind Piko Marquise. The leading local rider is a positive and she is fitter now, but as an unplaced five-start maiden she profiles best as a realistic place hope. |

Ureshi Katsunori 3YO BAY COLT 57.0KG Tetsuo Koshimura Found little when seventh here behind Wonder Muse, beaten over 14 lengths, and he finished behind Graduel in that same race. The run prior was also plain, an 11th in a Niigata Dirt 3yo Maiden over 1800m when beaten over 18 lengths. Even so, he is race fit, back in a suitable set-up and has enough standing in this thin maiden to be treated as one of the main hopes rather than dismissed. |

TETSUYA NAGASE 3YO DK B FILLY 53.0KG Teruo Kato Resumed with a well-held second-last here behind Wonder Muse after settling rearward and starting at long odds. That followed an 11th at Fukushima Dirt in a 3yo Maiden over 1700m, where she was beaten over 14 lengths and again gave no market signal. The class drop is some help, but she needs a far sharper finish before she can be entertained strongly. |

Resumed at Chukyo in a 3yo Maiden over 2000m and finished eighth behind Bixbite, beaten just over eight lengths after settling back and making no impression late. Her earlier Kyoto 2400m run was weaker again, fading to 15th behind Sea To Summit. The sharp drop to 1300m is the main risk, but the light 52kg and class relief give her a credible winning platform in this field. |

Her prior Niigata 1000m 3yo Maiden run was no stronger, finishing 13th behind Akau Flugel and making no impression late. Shinji Kudo's stable is respected, but the race form says she must improve sharply. |

Was near the top of betting here last start but gave away a big start in the straight and finished ninth behind Wonder Muse, beaten over 19 lengths. His Fukushima Dirt run before that was also safely held, finishing eighth behind Chaser over 1700m at big odds. Market respect last time is noted, but the exposed form still leaves him with plenty to prove. |

She has now been beaten by both Graduel and Yamame Knight at Kochi, which sets a clear form line. Continued race fitness helps, but she looks more suited to minor money than a winning role. |

Two back, he was unwanted in betting and 12th in a Kokura Dirt 3yo Maiden over 1000m. The back-in-trip query is real, yet this lightly raced colt can land in the minor money if he begins cleaner. |
