Strong pace with Kurinatchi, Sol Estrella and Goreijo pushing forward, closely attended by Lily Correr and Itazura Vega. KURINATCHI (7) is the horse they all have to beat after stretching her winning run with a nine-length 3yo+ B2 success at Mizusawa, backed into very short odds and again winning with something in reserve. Her broader record is hard to fault: eight wins from 14, unbeaten in two starts at Mizusawa and three wins from four at 1400m. SOL ESTRELLA (4) is the main threat and arrives off two soft Morioka Dirt wins, the latest by six lengths in 3yo+ B1 grade, while her five wins from 11 attempts at this track and distance make the move back to Mizusawa a genuine positive. CHEERFUL VOICE (3) has the best value profile of the top four if she can turn her 1200m closing run into a stronger 1400m performance; the distance record and Ryo Takamatsu combination are major assets. LILY CORRER (11) is flying this season and comes through a short-course second at Mizusawa, but the extra distance is the key test against sharper winning profiles.

Ryo Takamatsu also knows her well, and the return to a more suitable trip gives her a genuine winning platform if she is close enough when it matters. |

Carries 56kg after 52kg last time, but current form, track-and-trip strength and Reika Sekimoto's record aboard keep her high in calculations. |

The run prior was sound, working home evenly for second over 1200m at Morioka Dirt at generous odds. She is far better judged on her track-and-trip credentials and rider record, but a bounce-back is required before pushing her higher. |
