Energy Ayu should lead at a strong tempo. SUNRISE JUDGE (10) is the horse to beat after producing a sharp turnaround at Kochi last start, coming from a difficult position to beat Sunshine Beach by a neck. His previous Chukyo Dirt run was poor, but the local win gives him the strongest recent reference and he should take benefit being third-up. O K TOMBOY (3) is the main danger on her overall Kochi profile, with a sound second to Sauvage two runs back and an 80% place strike at the track, although the latest sixth behind Mozu Ganesa has to be forgiven. ENERGY AYU (6) has been the most consistent of the key hopes, going third then second here, and the neck defeat to Lord Belfast reads well if she holds that level. MEIJO ENERGY (11) is harder to sell as a winner after a plain latest effort, but her five placings from twelve starts at this track and distance keep her in the minor-money conversation.

If she rebounds to that prior level, she is right in the winning mix. |

The class drop is some help, but he profiles as a place chance only if he resumes in better order. |

Third-up now and already a Kochi winner, he sets the standard if he repeats that finish. |
