Briseis Eclipse, Dazelles and Bonfire Girl all possess good speed. DAZELLES (5) led but could not sustain the pressure and finished fourth last start over this distance at Donald. Finished third two back in a similar race to this carrying 2.5kgs more when off a 32-day break. Cherry ripe now and in a thin race is the clear top pick. BRISEIS ECLIPSE (3) was runner-up two back over this course and distance then she over-raced at Murray Bridge last time and dropped right out. Hard mare to follow but if on-song she is a genuine hope. DE LUCA (6) hasn't won in ages but the run last start was promising when she made late ground to be beaten under two lengths over 1050m at Morphettville. Down in grade and although racing beyond 1100m for the first time she can play a key role. SHE SPARKLES (8) had been building to a win and it came last time out over this distance at Bordertown. That was just her second success in 20 starts so not getting over excited. Each-way. BONFIRE GIRL (2) hasn't set the world on fire in three runs this prep but can improve. SUGGESTED PLAY: Keen to back Dazelles.
