Pace looks sure to be genuine with Roadking and Sacred Chord matching motors, closely followed by Rocktagon. THE ICE CUTTER (9) flashed home but just missed first-up in a similar race to this two starts back. Blew the start but rallied late for a midfield finish last time out over this distance at Bordertown. Draws a perfect gate so if he jumps with them today this looks a very winnable race. ROCKTAGON (1) had a six-week break before his last run, an eye-catching fourth over this distance at Murray Bridge. Has been up for a while but continues to perform. Big danger on his best form. BIG MAV (3) returns from a five-month spell. Opened the last campaign with a win here at this trip. Placed in a recent Murray Bridge jump-out so he looks ready to run well. SACRED CHORD (2) has been going well in weaker races. One for the exotics. SUGGESTED PLAY: Not much between the top three picks - leaning the way of The Ice Cutter.
