There should be a bit of pressure with Polar Eyes and Magic Voyager pressing forward in advance of Caesour's Tomb and Don't Say Do.
POLAR EYES (11) is still a maiden after eight starts but her recent form stands out in a race like this. In the money two back over 1250m at Morphettville Parks then tackled the same course and distance last start and just missed the placings. Carries the same weight dropping back from metro Saturday grade. Should be winning. THE PUNK ROCKER (5) overcame a slow start to be beaten just a length when resuming over 1300m at Balaklava last time out. Placed at three of four runs at this circuit. Lines up for the 17th time today so it is hard to get too enthused, but he does look the danger. GLENDYS (13) is a first starter from the Jolly/Potter stable. Placed in a recent jump-out here. Betting will tell the tale. JUST COMET (9) gets back in her races and finds it hard to get involved. Steps out beyond 1100m for the first time today which should help. MAGIC VOYAGER (10) dropped out alarmingly on debut at Mildura. Blinkers on might be the key. SUGGESTED PLAY: Polar Eyes looks a good thing.
