MEISHO CLIFT (9) sets the benchmark in this C3 after winning at Kochi by three lengths last start, scoring from Emphasize after being well found in betting. The Chukyo Dirt failure two back was plain, but the immediate local turnaround and one-from-one track record make him the runner they have to beat. JET BREAK (1) is the main threat, returning from a five-week let-up after consecutive thirds, including a Saga placing as favourite and a prior Kochi third over 1600m. PLUMERIA KUHIO (6) brings a class-drop profile out of 3yo+ ALLOW company, though recent margins at Niigata Dirt and Tokyo Dirt demand trust. BOLD STATE (3) improved to finish fifth here, beaten just over four lengths, and is the next best if he builds again third-up.

Returns from a five-week let-up after finishing third at Saga in a 3yo+ COND, beaten nine lengths by Ken Bridge Knight as favourite after working home evenly. He had also run third at Kochi over 1600m, beaten five lengths by Al Hayl Fort near the top of an open market. The drop back to 1400m is the query, but the recent consistency and rider link keep him firmly in the winning mix. |

Two back he again made ground into third, beaten over 11 lengths by Ask Duramente at big odds. His placings read well for exotics, but the size of those defeats keeps the winning case in check. |

Third-up fitness helps, but his winless record and poor track-distance stats make this more a minor-money profile. |

The run prior was no better, finishing last in a 3yo+ C2 over 1600m here when well held behind Baby Boss at big odds. Weight relief is noted, but current form makes him hard to recommend. |
