The Sonoda failure two back is the obvious mark against him, but his overall Kochi profile and positive recent rating keep him clearly in the main discussion. FUYUSOBI (2) is the danger at a better setup than his last two runs suggest; he was well beaten in 3yo+ A3 company, yet he has a track-and-distance win and stronger 12-month figures than those finishes show. DANON WILHELM (6) resumes from four months off and brings a strong career strike rate plus two wins and one placing from four starts at this track and distance, though the break tempers confidence.
