The race lacks early speed so doubt they will go too hard. RIFFLE FORCE (9) deserves top billing after improving sharply at Kochi, finishing second to Suzuka Rose King after starting odds-on. She beat Crack Me Up through that line, but the fact she was beaten four lengths as a short-priced favourite keeps the race open. PEISHA MY DAYS (4) brings a different profile, having fought on for third at Kasamatsu when beaten two lengths, a much better effort than his well-beaten 3yo Maiden run at Hanshin Dirt. CRACK ME UP (7) has placed at both Kochi runs and has also placed at this distance, so he is a genuine threat if he can turn those minors into a sharper winning effort. TAMAMO AMALFI (1) was fourth behind Sunrise Judge last start and second to Piko Marquise before that, with market respect at both runs. She has already beaten Crack Me Up at Kochi, which keeps her in the winning conversation, though the distance query makes her a shade less appealing than the top pair.

The previous 3yo Maiden run at Hanshin Dirt was poor, finishing second last and well beaten, but the latest effort is the run to assess. If he holds that level second-up, he has a strong winning case in this field. |
