He can settle just off the leaders, wait for the right gaps to appear, and unleash late, making him the one they all have to beat. RISING FORCE (3) has an unbeaten fresh record and should get every chance with Zac Purton in the irons. He has options from a middle gate, and should go close to taking this out. MUGEN (2) has been trialling well for his return and is likely to settle back off what should be a genuine tempo. If the leaders overdo it, he can have the last say. TURQUOISE VELOCITY (9) can make the most of the pole position, and he has previously performed well fresh. He meets an even field, and should be fighting out the finish. SALON S (8) resumes after a break and won first-up last prep at this track. If he has some luck from his sticky gate, then he has each-way claims as well.
