KEITEN AIJIN (9) is the runner to beat despite coming off a ninth at Chukyo, where he was beaten five and a half lengths at long odds in a 3yo+ ALLOW. His previous Saga second as favourite behind Aitaka reads far better for this assignment, and his two placings from two starts both at the track and the distance give him the right base. RADIO GA GA (3) is the obvious threat after winning here by two lengths as favourite, and her season record of four wins and six places from ten starts demands respect. MEINER SAHARA (1) was well held behind Radio Ga Ga last start, but seven wins from twelve at this track and distance, plus the return of Isao Yamaguchi, keeps him firmly in calculations. BEIDEN MARINA (8) has to rebound from a heavy last-start defeat, yet three wins from seven over this course and distance gives her some minor-money appeal if she recaptures earlier form.
