HAGAKURENO HATA (1) put six lengths on her rivals here first-up, and the strength of her Saga 1400m record makes her the horse they all have to reach. She also had solid 3yo COND form before the break, so this is more than one sharp return run. WONDER VISIBLE (11) is the main danger on overall profile, with four wins from twelve starts and a proven distance record, but he must rebound from a last-start failure as favourite. THERMAL (2) is still a maiden after 23 starts, yet his latest fourth had merit after he made up late ground at generous odds, and the weight relief keeps him in the winning discussion. SILVER CRAFT (8) brings the best track-and-trip strike rate of the quartet, though her odds-on defeat last start leaves her with a clear trust issue. Hagakureno Hata is the most reliable option, with Wonder Visible the classier danger if ready fresh.
