BRIGHT MORTAR (6) looks ready to bounce back second-up after producing a big effort fresh, charging home for second on the turf here, and arguably unlucky not to win after finding traffic late. He has a strong record at this trip and can go one better this time. CENTRAL BANK (2) has trialled sharply for his return and gets a class drop with Zac Purton booked. The switch to the synthetic is the query, but he has enough ability to give this a big shake. NATURAL HIGH (4) draws to get a run to suit him, and a recent trial was sound. He can stalk the pace, and should get his chance in the run home. Each way. DAY DAY VICTORY (11) made a solid debut for James Cummings when finishing fifth a fortnight ago, and the form of that race has since been franked. He strips fitter, and only needs some luck from a wide gate to be right in the finish here.
