Strong tempo from Hearty Party, Sound Infini and T O Tebaldi. T O TEBALDI (5) gets the nod in a competitive Sonoda 1230m contest. Her latest fifth behind Summer Park reads better than the margin suggests, as she made good ground late and was again respected near the top of an open market. MONONOFUNO MICHI (3) is the immediate danger after finishing third in the same race as favourite, and his four wins from twelve starts at this track and distance give him a very solid platform, although he does need to convert that consistency. SHANA O (9) brings the cleanest recent finishing profile, with consecutive seconds including a half-length defeat two back behind Victory Bridge, and he has placed in both attempts at the distance. BLANC BELLE (4) has the class-drop angle and a prior track-and-distance win, but her last-start seventh beaten over 13 lengths leaves her with more to prove.

The class drop and one win from three at this track and distance keep her in the place mix, not the top slot. |

She has two wins and two places from seven starts at Sonoda and looks ready to give this a strong shake fourth-up. |
