Genuine tempo with Sir William and Gee Gees Brother pressing for the lead. UNFILTERED (7) is going better than the form suggests and looks close to getting off the mark. Beaten just a length in fourth on the synthetic last time at Devonport and placed at Hobart on the turf the start prior. Placed 2/3 this circuit and gets a chance to break through. SORELL EAGLES (5) is another going better than it looks. Has been winding up strongly, the latest eight after going back to last from a wide gate. Better draw, keeps the leading hoop and will be tough to stop. SYMPHONY QUEEN (8) hit the line hard fresh to place and can only be improved. Placed 2/2 course and distance and looks close to breaking through. SIR WILLIAM (3) is working up to a win. Expected to give a sight. WHITE STAR SUZIE (9) is well back in trip and will be storming home late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Unfiltered.
