Solid tempo likely from Nobu And White and Long Seller Ask. KURINO ACHIEVER (2) sets the standard on current form after putting away a Sonoda 3yo+ C3 field by two and a half lengths, and his record at this track and distance gives that win substance. A SHIN VIENTO (5) is the main threat if he rebounds from a poor sixth, as his previous Sonoda win over Yubae and his track-distance record read well for this. BABY VAGY (4) brings the right third-up profile after a narrow win from Meisho Setsugetsu, although the sharp turnaround from a distant last start prior makes her more a solid place chance than a clear top pick. RE GO TO (7) is honest and comes off a Sonoda win of his own, with the Wataru Hirose partnership a genuine asset.

FREVO
NAOYUKI MIYAKE 9YO CHESTNUT MARE 51.0KG Lord Horse Club Was never in contention here last start, conceding a huge start before finishing eighth in a 3yo+ C2, beaten over 20 lengths and unwanted in the market. The start prior was much better, winning a 3yo+ C3 at Sonoda by just under two lengths from Wonder Etoile at long odds. Barrier one and 51kg help, but she must avoid giving these a start to land a minor prize. |

KURINO ACHIEVER
HIROAKI WATASE 5YO BROWN HORSE 57.0KG Mamoru Kurimoto Put the race away quickly at Sonoda last start, winning a 3yo+ C3 by two and a half lengths from Lambeau Leap after being prominent, with the market again having him near the top of betting. He had been second to Super Cool the run prior, beaten a length and a half. Two wins and three places from 18 at this track and distance, plus a strong record with Toyokazu Tano, make him the runner to beat if he holds that form. |

MAPLE DEEP
MASAHIRO KITANO 3YO BAY COLT 56.0KG Worked home without threatening when fifth to Macho Sasupo at Sonoda last start, beaten five lengths in a 3yo+ C2. His previous run was another fifth, beaten six and a half lengths by Hagino Aggressive after only a moderate final effort. The track-distance record and jockey combination offer some support, but he needs a stronger closing effort to trouble the better chances. |

BABY VAGY
SUMIO ARIMA 4YO DK B FILLY 53.0KG Found the necessary lift at Sonoda last start, winning a 3yo+ C3 by a head from Meisho Setsugetsu after being near the top of an open market. That was a sharp improvement on her fresh run, where she finished a distant last at big odds. Third-up now and already a winner at this track and distance, she has enough upside to run well without looking a dominant win prospect. |

A SHIN VIENTO
KAZUYA SAKAMOTO 3YO BAY COLT 53.0KG Returns from a six-week freshening after a plain sixth at Sonoda, beaten over 14 lengths by Coeur Et Cassis when at long odds and never a factor. His previous run reads far better, winning a 3yo+ C3 by just over a length from Yubae when near the top of betting and strong through the line. With 53kg and a sound track-distance record, he can rebound strongly if that latest run is left behind. |

LONG SELLER ASK
MITSUAKI TAMAGAKI 7YO BAY MARE 54.0KG Hirosaki Toshihiro HD Co. Ltd. Led narrowly at Sonoda last start but was swamped and beaten over 10 lengths by Etre Doue in a 3yo+ C2, so the latest run is a clear concern. The start prior was much better, finishing third to Kurino Enishi and beaten just under a length. Her overall record is strong and Teppei Kotani has done well on her, but she needs to sustain her run for longer this time. |

RE GO TO
KEIICHI TOKUMOTO 6YO BAY HORSE 57.0KG Continued a consistent run of form at Sonoda last start, winning a 3yo+ C3 by just under a length from A P Poetess after working into the race cleanly. He had been a well-supported favourite two back when third to Osumi Strong, beaten just over four lengths. Four wins at this track and distance and a long, productive association with Wataru Hirose keep him firmly in the place mix. |

NOBU AND WHITE
ISHIBASHI MITSURU 5YO BAY MARE 55.0KG Nobuteru Maeda Led at Sonoda last start but could only finish sixth in a 3yo+ C2, beaten six and a half lengths by Macho Sasupo after starting at generous odds. The run prior was a distant third in a small field, beaten seven and a half lengths by Number Theory after tiring late. Her career record has some depth, but recent finishing effort leaves her with plenty to find. |
