Race 8 1200m Track: SOFT |

Pace strong with Bene Merenti and Mademoisellerennes leading with Revuelto Dio nearby. REVUELTO DIO (11) brings the cleanest winning profile after scoring at Ohi in 3yo COND company, beating Orange Man by half a length as a dominant odds-on favourite. He had also run second to Magic Elegance at the same venue, so his current preparation has real substance, although the move into this C1 asks another question. KUCHOMOZA KWA JUA (6) is the proven older rival, with an outstanding Ohi 1200m record and a last-start third behind Magic Elegance that reads well for this. DAIYAME (1) keeps finding the placings and has excellent track-and-distance consistency, but his low win rate makes him a stronger place anchor than a certain winning threat. FULGURITE (13) improved sharply last start when fifth, beaten just over two lengths, and can press for minor money if he holds that form.

DAIYAME
RYUICHI YOSHII 5YO BAY HORSE 56.0KG Yorikatsu Tsujiko Continues to race consistently, finishing third in a 3yo+ C2 at Ohi last start when sent out favourite and beaten just under three lengths by Cumin Flavor. The start prior was another third here behind Top Legend, albeit he lacked the turn of foot to win. His track-and-distance record is a major asset, but the winning strike rate remains the obvious query. |

SHREWSBURY
YUTA EBINA 4YO CHESTNUT FILLY 54.0KG Second-up after a plain ninth at Ohi when beaten seven lengths by Magic Elegance at big odds. Her previous run was no better, finishing 11th here behind Jasmine Two after giving away too much start. A past track-and-distance win gives some context, but recent efforts say she needs a clear lift to trouble these. |

MADEMOISELLERENNES
KAZUMASA SAKAMOTO 5YO BAY MARE 51.0KG Led narrowly into the lane at Ohi last start but weakened to finish tenth, beaten just over nine lengths by Magic Elegance at long odds. Two back she was ninth behind Doppietta and again failed to threaten. The 51kg helps and she has two wins at the track and distance, but current form leaves a substantial task. |

KEIJI NAKAMICHI 3YO BAY FILLY 53.0KG Returns from a three-month break after finishing second last in a 3yo COND over 1400m at Ohi, beaten over 15 lengths by Kana Hogera without offering a challenge. Her previous fifth behind Civic Fourwheel was more respectable, and she has placed twice from three tries at this track and distance. Place claims look more realistic than a win push. |

GRASS COMET
MASAHIRO UESUGI 4YO CHESTNUT FILLY 54.0KG Improved sharply at Ohi last start, running fourth behind Magic Elegance and beaten two lengths despite starting at big odds after having plenty to do. That was a clear step up from her previous tenth behind God Burg when unwanted in the market. She tends to get back, so the winning task has risk, but she has enough late strength for a place case. |

KUCHOMOZA KWA JUA
TAKEMI MUNAKATA 7YO CHESTNUT HORSE 56.0KG Kyoko Habata Returned to stronger form when third at Ohi last start, beaten a length and a half by Magic Elegance after being near the top of an open market. The prior seventh as a well-supported favourite was costly, as he loomed and failed to go on, but his overall record is excellent. Ten wins at this track and distance make him a major winning chance again. |

IMPERIO
NOBUHIRO ONODERA 5YO BAY HORSE 56.0KG Turf Sport Co. Ltd. Worked home without ever looking a winning hope when seventh at Ohi last start, beaten five and a half lengths by Magic Elegance at big odds. His previous sixth behind Doppietta was sound enough without being threatening. Five wins at this track and distance are respected, but current form needs to lift several lengths. |

KIYOAKI TAKAHASHI 5YO DK B GELDING 56.0KG Yukihiro Moroe Second-up after finishing last at Ohi, beaten over 12 lengths by Magic Elegance at long odds after conceding a huge start. The run prior was also a heavy defeat, finishing seventh behind Dupuy De Lome and beaten over 12 lengths. Still a maiden after 28 starts and unplaced in nine tries at this track and distance, he faces a stern assignment. |

BENE MERENTI
TSUYOSHI TAKANO 5YO BAY MARE 54.0KG Koji Maeda Returns from a three-month break after dropping out to finish 14th in a 3yo+ ALLOW at Kokura, beaten over 10 lengths by Nobori Riant at long odds. Two back she led and worked home evenly for fifth behind Melone. The class drop into C1 and a prior distance win offer some hope, but she must show more at her first Ohi attempt. |

HIROMITSU KURITA 7YO DK B HORSE 56.0KG DMM Dream Club Co. Ltd. Recent form has tailed off badly, with a second-last finish at Ohi last start when beaten over 11 lengths by Magic Elegance at long odds. The start prior was another second-last effort over 1600m behind Musashi Tarumae, beaten over 15 lengths and unwanted in the market. His old record has merit, but the current evidence is weak. |

REVUELTO DIO
KIYOAKI TAKAHASHI 3YO DK B COLT 55.0KG Built on a solid first-up placing by winning a 3yo COND at Ohi last start, beating Orange Man by half a length as a dominant odds-on favourite. He had earlier run second to Magic Elegance, beaten three lengths, so the preparation is trending the right way. The shift into C1 is the next hurdle, but his race fitness and winning profile command respect. |

SMILE KEI
NAYA KAZUHISA 5YO GREY MARE 54.0KG Was there to strike at Ohi last start but found little, finishing sixth and beaten just over four lengths by Magic Elegance when unwanted in the market. Her third behind Doppietta two runs back was better, as she finished strongly at big odds. The place record is honest, but she needs a more complete effort to threaten the main chances. |

FULGURITE
HIDEYO YONEDA 4YO BAY HORSE 56.0KG Yoshitsugu Toyoi Took a useful step forward at Ohi last start, finishing fifth behind Magic Elegance and beaten just over two lengths after picking up nicely in the straight. That was a strong rebound from a second-last finish behind Doppietta when sent out favourite. He is third-up now and has recent winning form to lean on, but consistency remains the caution. |
