Expecting Live Wire to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. LIVE WIRE (3) looks ready to fire first-up after an excellent trial, having broken through at his final start last campaign. He has placed fresh before and a good barrier will see him map for the run of the race. He looks the one to beat. SAME TO YOU (12) won first-up this time last season off a similar rating and gets a huge swing his draw here. That could be the difference and he is a serious winning chance. SOMELOVEFROMABOVE (2) drops into Class 4 and impressed in a recent trial, suggesting the stable has him ready to rumble. He cops a tricky gate, but should still be very competitive. Each way. STARRY SHOW (5) gets the pole position after an upset win last start and another good trial indicates that effort was no fluke. Stick with him. GIANT LEAP (4) resumes after being beaten by 4 lengths last time out, but is capable of improving sharply fresh up, and he is worth including in all top 4 combos at a price.
