BEE TRINITY (7) is the top pick on the strength of her win here two runs ago, when she beat M T King by a neck as favourite and confirmed her liking for the Ohi mile. Last start was below that level, finishing eighth and beaten seven lengths, but her track-and-distance record and solid partnership with Sho Yoshii give her the right profile to rebound. CALTHA PALUSTRIS (2) is the obvious danger after successive seconds, most recently beaten a nose by Rapide over 1800m, and the return to a winning distance is a genuine plus. PEISHA KISEKI (10) has been knocking on the door, beaten a neck as favourite last time after also placing behind Bee Trinity. The wide draw and maiden record are the reservations. FAIR CLOUD (3) has the strongest place profile, with three wins and six places from 15 starts at this course and distance.
