NAGOYA   16 Sep 2026

GOING:

Race 2 1500m

Track:

Desuyotteni and Win Klingel will settle forward and can set a moderate tempo. REAL FORZA (2) brings the most rounded profile, having won here two starts ago by a length and a half before finishing second to Noble Queendom last week when beaten three lengths. His track-and-distance record and proven partnership with Seigo Tsukamoto make him the runner to beat. WIN KLINGEL (10) is still a maiden, but four placings from seven attempts at this track and distance give him a genuine case if he improves on his latest sixth. WAHRSAGEN (1) comes off a Nagoya win over this trip and must be respected, though her previous sixth at big odds keeps a small query in the mix. WIN MOANA (9) has put two fourths together and beat Win Klingel here recently, so she is a place chance with a knock-out hope.

Thoroughbred Club Ruffian Co. Ltd.
Made all at Nagoya last week, beating Vodnik by a length and a half after being near the top of betting, and she now has a win from two starts at both the track and distance. The run prior was much weaker when sixth to Hidegami Tiara, beaten nine lengths at big odds after finding little. That turnaround was sharp, but she still has to confirm it under 55kg.

Followed a Nagoya win over this track and distance with a sound second last week, beaten three lengths by Noble Queendom after being near the top of betting and only run down late. He had beaten Walkure Queen by a length and a half two starts ago and is one win and one place from three here at 1500m. With the winning rider back, his recent form reads strongest.

Kazuo Kato
Returns from a lengthy spell after finishing fifth at Funabashi, beaten just under five lengths by Narisuna after settling prominently and fading late. His previous run was a heavy defeat in a 3yo Maiden over 1900m at Chukyo Dirt, where he was unwanted in the market and beaten over 17 lengths. Class relief helps, but he is still a maiden with a distance query.

Was last at Nagoya four weeks ago, beaten over 16 lengths by Aulani after never coming into the race, and that followed a seventh in 3yo+ COND grade when beaten seven and a half lengths by Fortia. He has won at this track, but remains unplaced from two attempts at the distance and the market has not been with him. Needs a major form reversal.

Conceded far too much start when seventh at Nagoya last time, beaten over 14 lengths by Hidegami Tiara after being unwanted in the market. Two back he was sixth to Heavenly Sky, beaten seven lengths, but at least made some late ground from a long way back. The class drop and lighter weight help, though a 19-start maiden profile keeps the winning bar high.

Was safely held at Nagoya last start when seventh to Anfar, beaten five and a half lengths at triple-figure odds, after being second last and beaten over 18 lengths by Vip Joie the run prior. She does have one win and two places from six starts at this track and distance, but the current form and market profile are hard to recommend.

HOSOKAWA SATOSHI

7 50007 KITAKARAKITA MAAYA
MANABU KURACHI
3YO  BROWN  FILLY 54.0KG

Failed to finish off when seventh to Go Go Mango at Nagoya last start, beaten five and a half lengths after being unwanted in the market. The run before was a deeper concern, second last to Aulani and beaten over 14 lengths after being close enough to do better. Her long-term record includes only one win from 26 starts, so others bring stronger recent claims.

TETSUYA INOUE
3YO  BAY  FILLY 55.0KG

Finished eighth to Hidegami Tiara at Nagoya last start, beaten over 14 lengths at long odds after failing to come into the race. She had also run eighth over 920m in 3yo+ COND company two back, beaten just under six lengths by Yuino Resistance. Eight placings from 18 starts show some minor-money history, but she is still winless and unplaced at this track.

Has put together consecutive fourths at Nagoya, most recently beaten just over three lengths by Go Go Mango after having the drop on the leaders but not going on with it. That followed a fourth to Ardent Eye when beaten seven and a half lengths at big odds. She beat Win Klingel here a couple of weeks ago and carries 52kg again, giving her a sound place profile.
9

Win Co. Ltd.
Was sixth to Go Go Mango at Nagoya last start, beaten four and a half lengths after being near the top of betting, but the issue was plain: he did not quicken. Two back he was seventh to Vip Joie, beaten over 12 lengths at long odds. The stronger case is his record here at 1500m, with four placings from seven, and that keeps him right in the race despite being a maiden.

KATSUKI NIWA
YELLOW, PURPLE FIVE STARS, SLEEVES, Pink cap

SATORU SETOGUCHI
3YO  GREY  FILLY 55.0KG
Yoriko Kurimoto
Could not make headway when sixth to Hidegami Tiara at Nagoya last start, beaten over 12 lengths after being unwanted in the market. Her previous run was also plain, ninth to Heavenly Sky and beaten nine and a half lengths at long odds. She has won once at this track and distance, but the current pattern is not persuasive enough to make her a serious threat.
