Solid tempo with Dennyson leading from Rippington and Alisent. RIPPINGTON (3) was solid fresh then on speed and drew clear on the turf at Hobart last time in a Class 1. Drawn to go forward and will take beating again. ROYAL DETECTIVE (6) is fitter for two runs back and each time has wound up strongly to place. Looks tough to stop. DENNYSON (2) is also third-up from a spell and comes into this a last start winner of a Class 1 at Hobart. Tricky gate but has early speed and will be in this for a long way. THEM'S THE BREAKS (5) is also a last start winner, scoring over 1880m on the Devonport synthetic. Back in trip but has a good record this circuit at the distance and is hard fit and will run on late. ALISENT (8) has been safely held on the synthetic last two but is a winner here and gets chance to atone. SUGGESTED PLAY: Follow up on Rippington.
