ROMANTIC LAOS (5) worked home strongly from last at this track last week and was doing his best work late for fifth. The better draw should allow him to settle closer and he looks a genuine each-way chance. CAN’T GO WONG (9) has placed in this race previously and arrives off consecutive thirds. He is racing too consistently to ignore and he is expected to be fighting out the finish again. STAR BROSE (10) resumes after a break following a narrow defeat over 2000m. If he returns near his best, he can sneak into the combos.
