He was beaten a head as a heavily supported odds-on runner here last start, and that followed a three-length 3yo+ C1 win over Rock A Hula Dancer, so the substance is there despite the narrow defeat. RIKO CRUSADER (5) is the main danger after closing from well back to finish fifth, beaten just over two lengths, and she has already had the measure of Mischmasch in a recent Nagoya clash. MISCHMASCH (9) brings a genuine closing third behind Cool Sherry and has consistent place form at this track and distance, though the lack of a win remains the reservation.
