CREPUSCULAR (1) impressed when successful on debut over 1800m at Sapporo four-and-a-half months ago and has not appeared since. Has plenty of upside and can win again. RESORT ISLAND (8) recorded a strong maiden win over 1600m at Tokyo last time, getting there by 2.5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and he is right in the mix again. HISHI ISLAY (2) impressed when successful as favourite on debut over 1600m at Kyoto seven weeks ago. Can kick on from that outing and is among the chances again. SUN BRIGHT (9) is back from a spell of three months. Won on debut at the only appearance last prep, collecting a 1600m contest at this track by a neck. Strong top-three chance.
