Genuine tempo with Talladega Girl leading the way. Keen to stick with JOB DONE (1) who resumed with a very good win at the midweeks here, settling midfield, coming widest and really knuckling down late to run down a speedy type, winning comfortably in the end with a big gap back to third. 1100m now looks perfect, he looks up to better races than this and can win again. MISS OLE (2) resumes and looks the danger. She won two in a row as a 2yo before the spell off a luckless debut when missing the kick. She likely gives Job Done a head start but will be charging late. NAIFAH (4) was a bit plain last time but the G3 Red Roses run at Flemington prior reads very well, each way. TALLADEGA GIRL (6) was a handy maiden winner fresh and could give some cheek if she crosses comfortably from out wide. HI VAL (5) struggled last time but could improve into a placing. SUGGESTED PLAY: Job Done to win.
