Expecting Conni Island to take up the lead at a genuine tempo. HYSTERICAL LADY (5) returned with a bang two weeks ago when exploding down the outside. Draws to get back again but will relish the added trip and is already a winner here. Watch for her launching late. PRESS EXPRESS (9) doesn’t win often but is holding his form well, only missing the bob last time at Balaklava. Gets weight relief with the rise in grade and boasts a strong record at this venue. Doesn’t need to improve much to get the verdict. SYNTHESISE (13) dug deep to shed her maiden tag by a lip last start. Has more to offer third-up and is sharpened by blinkers on for the first time. Expect her to be in this for a long way. CONNI ISLAND (4) is the only recognised leader and could take some catching if left alone in front. Don’t dismiss. SPEEDTAIL (1) is due some luck but faces a tough task from the wide draw. Still, watch for him launching late. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hysterical Lady can launch late again.
