Abundant pace from Corbusier, Egzakly and Our Addiction vying for the lead with Catalina Dreaming on their backs. CORBUSIER (1) is a promising galloper resuming. Last sighted when beaten a lip into second over this track and trip back in June. Has never missed the frame when fresh. Has a great record at this journey and is sure to be very competitive. MUTAFIQ (2) finished a close fourth last start over this course and distance. Strips rock-hard fit and has best figures that measure up. Can give this a big shake. POWER PUFF (6) displayed plenty of early toe and went on to score by a long neck last time out over 900m at Innisfail. Meets some better types this time but can keep the ball rolling. SUPER TWENTY THREE (5) doesn't win out of turn but has proven a capable type on his day. Drops back to a sprinting trip and is drawn to get all the favours. Don't dismiss easily. SUGGESTED PLAY: Corbusier gets the nod.
