Solid pace on the cards with Claim The Crown and Haze who like to get rolling early. KING PEDRO (3) talented gelding looking for the 2400m fifth-up. Indicated he was close to his top when surging late from back in the field to run second over 2000m at Rosehill. Dylan Gibbons retains the ride and shapes as a genuine winning prospect. BESTOWER (4) consistent mare expected to give a ton of cheek again in this grade. Raced closer to the speed when a commanding winner over this trip at Warwick Farm. Proven at this level and should take a hand in the finish. BRAVE CALL (2) finally lived up to expectations this time in when a hard-fought winner over 2000m at Kembla Grange on the soft track. Kept up to the mark with a 1200m tick-over trial placing at Gosford. Gives the impression he will get the journey. MR FABULOUS (12) is going better than his form suggests and drops in weight from the low draw. Keep safe at the big odds. WITTELSBACH (10) improving Dundeel mare starting to put it all together as she gets out in trip. Big jump in class but worth more than a passing glance. SUGGESTED PLAY: King Pedro will prove hard to hold out.
