Pace only fair with Desarae Doll rolling to the lead ahead of Mr Oreo and Omnipresent. NORDIC INVADER (1) doesn't win out of turn but should be hitting his straps now fourth-up. Couldn't meet market expectations last time after going back from the wide draw but he fares much better this time from the inside alley and keeps Wiggins. Suspect he bounces back sharply. GEM OF SCOTS (3) warmed nicely to her task late here last time. Strips fitter third-up and will appreciate the added journey. Sure to be very competitive. ASPEN COWBOY (2) was too good for a maiden field when resuming last start over 1000m at Atherton, scoring by a long neck. Sparingly raced and has more to offer on the quick back-up. DESARAE DOLL (4) was racing well without winning, finishing in the money on two consecutive occasions, before finishing fifth last time here. Has good early toe so she should be handy in the run. Can feature in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Giving Nordic Invader another chance.
