Genuine tempo with Thinkingnintynine leading the way. SURPRISE COMING (2) has been building nicely this campaign and looks ready to peak now. Kept fresh with 34 days between runs, he should relish the rise in trip and prove tough to hold out. SHOWRUNNER (3) was only fair when resuming at headquarters but has been freshened with 49 days and kept up to the mark with a jumpout win. Already a winner over this track and trip, he shapes as the main danger. THINKINGNINTYNINE (10) bounced straight back to form last start and will give a bold sight in front under no weight. Could pinch it if left alone. KIRKLISTON BLU (5) is another likely leader. Slightly disappointing last time but drops in grade and has genuine claims if he brings his best.
