Tellez and Black Zous should set a strong tempo. EVEN SHARPER (4) wound up late last start beaten 1L as favourite and was a comfortable winner prior. Maps better today and is thrown in with the 4kg claim. A decent chance to bounce. BLACK ZOUS (2) kicked off this campaign with a comfortable win and then tackled stronger than this beaten less than 2L. Much better suited and presenting fitter, he's a strong chance to bounce. TELLEZ (1) is third-up and both starts this preparation have been in better class. Raced a $3.5 favourite the latest and he's a third-up winner with genuine claims. PRINCESS PANCAKES (3) resumed at this level with a near miss and the form will stack up. May need longer now but is well in the mix. LEAN ON ME (5) was plain in the same race but she won well from the speed first-up and will get every chance from an inside barrier. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Even Sharper.
