Plenty of speed runners engaged, with Savvy Song, Easy Come and Braidwood Queen prominent. XUANFENG (6) just missed the placings two runs back then got a long way back last start when 5.5 lengths away in sixth over 1000m at Gold Coast. This is much easier and has the class to take this out. ESTE DIA (1) finished fifth over 1200m at Ipswich at his most recent appearance on July 17. Comes here with definite claims. DUCHESS OF ARGYLL (8) last start finished fifth at Goondiwindi over 1200m after being prominent at the turn. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BRAIDWOOD QUEEN (10) turned things around last start and got the job done by a nose over 850m at Bundaberg. Solid top-three prospects. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Xuanfeng.
