Strips fitter and he finds an easier assignment. LAGOON (11) sound return when an eye-catching fourth over 1100m at Narromine. Leading contender who looks set for a good prep. CALLE (2) snagged back from the draw first-up when a plodding last over 1000m at Gunnedah. Will relish the claim from the better gate and can figure prominently. VASTLY (4) winkers go on for this after disappointing from the wide draw on debut when eleventh over 1280m at Orange. Better than that and the claim will help his cause.
