A strong gallop is likely with Asakara King and Carro Veloce taking up the running, closely attended by Win Greatest and Ascoltiamo. CARRO VELOCE (9) was prominent from the outset and fought on for second last start over 1200m in Listed grade at Nakayama, making it two minor placings in a row. Should be prominent from the outset and is well placed to take this out. YABUSAME (14) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished ninth when fresh from a spell two starts back at Kyoto then improved and scored over 1400m at the same track three weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths when he produced a huge finish. Going up a level this time but he is good enough to play a major role. BIRTH CRY (15) finished second last time over 1200m at Fukushima when resuming from a spell, beaten 1.3 lengths. The engagement of Mirai Iwata is noteworthy. Placed to advantage and can take this out. SATONO CARNAVAL (4) last appeared when he finished 14th over 1400m in Listed grade at Tokyo on June 15. Sure to make his presence felt at this level.
