Keen speed battle, with Generous Harry, Apollo Ridge and Song For Rosie prominent.
NULLARBOR JANE (4) jumped straight to the lead and won by panels first-up in a maiden over this distance at Hawkesbury. Can dictate again with the aid of the inside alley so despite taking on a deeper field today she is hard to go past. APOLLO RIDGE (2) is another who led from the outset to collect his maiden win last time out, cruising home over 1100m at Hawkesbury. Has always exhibited talent and that win will serve as a real confidence booster. The wide gate is his biggest issue in a race with plenty of speed underneath. COOL BLAZE (7) continues the trend of last start all-the-way maiden winners, her success coming at Canberra over this journey. Competitive at provincial level last prep so cannot be overlooked. GENEROUS HARRY (1) last appeared in November 2024. Genuine sprinter whose two recent trial wins suggest he is forward enough to give a good account. Last start Muswellbrook maiden winner VITTOZZI (9) has each-way claims in this more difficult assignment. SUGGESTED PLAY: Nullarbor Jane to win again.
