MALPENSA (6) is on debut for Chris So with Zac Purton in the saddle, having partnered the gelding though his five trials since arriving in Honkers. His latest trial was very impressive and if he can bring that form to the races, he can make a statement. EMBLAZON (4) finished behind Pejibaye in his last start over this course and distance 62 days ago and hasn't been sighted publicly since. Should land in a handy position from the draw and looks open to plenty of improvement again. Can give himself every chance. GREAT SPIRIT (9) can sit much closer this time around from a better gate and rates a winning chance on his recent efforts.
