ARRONDI (3) gets a change of rider and has been freshened up since finishing tenth over 3000m in the G1 Kikuka Sho (Japanese St Leger) at Kyoto last start. Can bounce back in this far easier contest. CULMINALE (1) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish 1.3 lengths away in second over 2200m at Kyoto. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is capable of testing his two chief rivals. SCHWARZ MASAMUNE (4) returns from a spell of nine weeks and did win first-up last time in work over 2000m at Hakodate. Has ability and should be right in the finish. LIFE SAVING (2) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on October 18, finishing seventh and beaten 8 lengths over 2200m at Kyoto. One for first four players only.
