Genuine tempo with Splash Luma leading the way. BLUISH HUE (4) turned in a nice effort at the second run of the campaign, beaten 1.7L over 1100m at this track. Finds a suitable race and with the extra fitness he can go one better. JOHNNY THE KID (1) resumes and has switched from a top Sydney stable. He's placed 2/3 fresh in better company and will be tough to beat if presented on song. EVERYWHERE (5) resumes and would be a hope if presented more forward this time around. He races handily, and the betting will be a guide with him as well. WARILLA GORILLA (3) has needed the two runs this campaign and is capable of improvement. Draws wide, but he ran a couple of promising races in NSW early doors and would be a contender if he found that level of form. SPLASH LUMA (9) won her Maiden here on debut and can build on that. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bluish Hue appeals most.
