Cherry-ripe now. Katsuma Sameshima has won when aboard in the past and gets the ride again. Looks sure to be in the finish. RHATISCHE (12) doesn't win out of turn, scoring just once from 11 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. In the right race and there is no reason he cannot grab an elusive second success. STERNBILD (2) scored over 1400m at this track at his most recent appearance on August 31. Progressed nicely when last in work. Races well here and is a definite top-three chance. PAVIA (4) was narrowly beaten when second-up last start at this track over 1400m. Should be ready to find peak form.
