In a very plain affair PEAK ROAD (9) gets his chance to return to form. Freshened up since failing in open company at Inverell a month ago. Has won here at this trip so coming back in distance should not pose a problem. Well in with the claim so he makes as much appeal as any of them. VIA ROSE (10) has been about the mark of late without breaking into the top three. Beaten less than two lengths in a BM58 over this trip at Wellington two back carrying 2kgs more after today's claim. Big chance on that form. ACCRUE (1) last appeared over 1400m three runs ago when he was beaten just 1.1 lengths in open company at Armidale. Spokes' allowance offsets his massive impost. Class runner who must be respected. MAEVE (7) has been okay in two runs this time in work and should appreciate getting out to this journey now. Market watch on YOUR TEMPTATION (3) fresh from a seven-week break for a new stable. SUGGESTED PLAY: Peak Road on top without a great deal of confidence.
