Jaegers, Botanist and Lancelot Du Lac to take up the running at a decent tempo. RIPLEY (1) created a big impression when shedding his maiden status at his first run back at Rosehill, then raced without luck in two races at Listed level in Melbourne. Kept up to the mark with a 799m trial placing at Warwick Farm. Stalks the speed and can return to winning form. LANCELOT DU LAC (6) nice Flying Artie colt who proved too sharp on debut when running time to salute over 1300m at Randwick Kensington. Held in high regard by the stable and can continue on his winning ways. BIG PAPA (11) back for his second campaign when he kept his unbeaten record intact with a fast finishing victory over 1100m at Hawkesbury. The trip won't pose a problem and he gets his chance from the draw. PLAINTIFF (3) classy filly who remains undefeated in two starts and faces a stiffer test today from the wide gate. Showed a ton of determination at her second start when a nose winner over 1200m at Rosehill. Likely to go back and be ridden for luck. JAEGERS (9) stays in the mix despite drawing out. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ripley ticks plenty of boxes.
