Pace strong with Family Of League and Okesutora leading with Craiglea La Vie nearby. Competitive. INSAIN JEWEL (13) improved again, finishing a close second over 1400m at Scone as a heavily bet favourite. Has been switched north by the Archibald yard on an 18-day return. Has some weight relief and the step up to the mile will suit the well-bred galloper. With average luck she can go one better. SLIPSAIN (5) crossed from an outside draw to stalk the lead before drawing clear to win over 1400m at Gold Coast. Steps up from Maidens, but there was a lot to like about that performance and he'll get every chance riding the speed from an inside barrier. FAMILY OF LEAGUE (8) is a leader and she jumps from the paint. Missed a whisker at Ipswich first-up and she has more to offer. Stripping fitter she's sure to give a big sight. HAMILTON BROWN (11) peaks and is still shy of his best. Has weight relief today and should be around the mark. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Insain Jewel.
