BLUE EYED GIRL (9) resumed last time out and finished second over 1200m at Kyoto, beaten 1.3 lengths. Has a win and five placings at this journey from seven starts. Hard to go past. BLUE SUNSET (3) finished sixth over 1200m at Kyoto at her most recent appearance on October 5. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. NIJU DANCER (1) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1000m at Niigata, beaten 5.5 lengths. Strips fitter and can play a big role.
